GoForth was set up in 2007 as a meat goat business, although I've raised goats with my parents since 1999. Originally, the intent was to focus on productive, commercial boer goats plus some registered stock, and to begin developing my own strain of goats with their unique look being based on a couple goats I currently own. But now things have changed. Since I still live with my parents, I cannot continue to manage the numbers of animals I was hoping to maintain, and the requirement is down to a handful. Unfortunately, due to the consticted numbers and with the dream of developing this new strain, the boers will have to go. Sure, they'll be the foundation, but it will no longer be a boer based herd. On the plus side, I will be able to put all my focus on the new strain!

We are located just south of St. John, Kansas. More specifically, 2 and 1/8 miles south of highway 50 and 2 miles east of highway 281. If you ever happen to be in the area, feel free to drop in and look at the goats! We'd appreciate being warned first, but if you find yourself in our direction without having done so, don't be afraid to drop by and see if we're home. We're around most of the time and would be glad to take you on a tour!
