Fuji
1/2 LaMancha, 3/8 Nubian, 1/8 Alpine
DOB: 2/16/08

Fuji is a daughter of Sundae and Rigel, who is the son of Rosemary.  Fuji has milking history on both sides of her pedigree, and her full sisters (Valencia and Clementine) have shown their prowess in milk production as well.  She is both a climber and a jumper, so she is carefully kept in the pasture to prevent arousing my dad's displeasure as she dances on top of his car.

DOB: 2/1/03

Rosemary is a top producer!  This year was Rosemary's fourth kidding, and we were excited to see three pretty little girls born!  We traded two of them for Charger, and the third doeling is now part of GoForth.

Sundae
Full LaMancha
DOB: 3/98

One measuring from an average milking in Sundae's fourth year produced a gallon of milk.  Sundae is ten this year, and still fed triplets quite well for a while last year.  We will keep breeding her as long as she is at all capable of breeding so that we can get as many daughters out of her as is possible.  Perhaps we will even keep a buckling of hers to breed.

Licorice
3/8 Nubian, 5/8 Alpine
DOB: 3/3/06

Licorice has had two consecutive years of having poor health early in the year, but she's done a fairly good job of producing anyway.  The amount she produced certainly wasn't overly impressive, but she kept that amount steady instead of dropping it, and as soon as she shed out her coarse winter coat it increased!  I don't believe I've seen that before, but I think she will have a much better year - especially since we've kept the goats off the worm infested pasture.

Clementine
1/2 LaMancha, 3/8 Nubian, 1/8 Alpine
DOB: 12/28/06

Clementine a hot milker!  She is a daughter of Sundae, who was one of our best milkers in her younger years.  Clementine had one big, nice looking kid this year, and has a great udder for a yearling.

Belle
5/8 Nubian, 3/8 Alpine
DOB: 3/8/06

Daughter of Mirabelle, one of our best milkers.  Belle is milking very well this year.  She is two years and looks to be the next dairy doe to be top producer!  She is about the same as Rosemary in production.

Glitter
7/8 Nubian, 1/8 Alpine
DOB: 1/25/07

Glitter, though she is not yet freshened, shows promise of being a very good milker one of these days.  She is a beautiful girl, though small - as last year was terrible for each and every one of the kids - and we are all looking forward to what she will do next year.
