Though none of these goats are "for sale" unless specifically marked, many of them we would actually be willing to sell if we are given a good offer on them.  If you aren't sure about the value of a goat, we can price them for you as well.

Boer goat brood doe
Blinky (GoForth)
  White #2X2
Approx. 11/16 boer
DOB: 1/30/07

I'm excited about this young doe.  I'm really looking forward to seeing her first kids!  If only she had gone into heat at the end of her first year instead of waiting until next season.  Oh, well.  She has really put on a lot of weight and has the lovely, loose boer coat.

Boer goat brood doe
Lady (GoForth)
Red #1Y3
Approx. 7/16 boer
DOB: 1/27/08
This doeling is the daughter of one of our best milkers!  Lady weighed 19 1/2 pounds at one month old, and 37 1/2 at three months.  She should have big kids of her own in a year or so!  Lady definitely has long skinny dairy legs, but I bet that big, strong Charger should take care of her kids.  Lady is well named, as she behaves in every way respectable.

Boer goat breeding doe
Butternut (GoForth)
Red #2Y2
Approx. 7/16 boer
DOB: 1/31/08
This doeling is also a daughter of one of our very best milkers.  Her mother has extremely good mothering instincts and feeds her kids wonderfully.  Butternut is the tamest kid her dam has ever raised.  The little booger is so hard to photograph because she likes to keep her nose glued to the camera lens.  She weighed 19 pounds at one month, and 37 1/2 at three months.  Butternut has a really solid frame and I can't wait to see what she will do!

Boer goat brood doe
Fudge (GoForth)
Red #3Y3
Approx. 11/16 boer
DOB: 2/2/08
This little doe is gorgeous!  Fudge has a well built frame and lovely color.  Her mother fed her kids very well last year, and has done a great job this year, even with triplets.  Fudge is getting really big, and was bigger than her two triplet brothers at three months of age.  She weighed 16 1/2 pounds at one month, and 39 at three months.

Boer goat breeding doe
May (GoForth)
White #2Y3
Approx 55/64 boer
DOB: 3/31/08
May is a pretty little thing, and looks like she has the potential to be a great brood doe.  She was a triplet and the runt of the batch; didn't do too well in the competition with three kids for two teats and weighed 14 1/2 pounds at one month.  One of the triplets died, though, so May's opportunity opened wide up and she took it.  At three months she was already up to 32 pounds.

Boer goat breeding nanny
Stacey (GoForth)
White #3Y3
Approx 55/64 boer
DOB: 3/31/08
Stacey is the biggest, broadest, and most solid of the triplets.  She also has the best body structure.  She weighed 21 pounds at only one month old, 39 pounds at three months, and looks like she is a fullblood boer except for one thing - her bouncy ears give her away!  I really like her, but she has a well developed ability for looking goofy the moment the camera flashes.

Boer goat brood doe
Little Gray (GoForth)
Red #4Y1
Approx 7/16 boer
DOB: 3/28/08
Some folks try really hard to live up to their names, but Little Gray isn't one of them.  She is doing all she can to prove her name wrong!  She weighed 8 1/2 pounds at birth, as a single for a small first timer!  Even now she is growing like a weed, and has both good milk lines and boer blood.  I'm proud to say that even though this is her dam's first lactating year, Little Gray weighed 21 pounds at one month and 45 3/4 at three months.  Of all the doelings weighed at that age (and undoubtedly all the rest) she is at the very top!  This little girl is top quality for a commercial herd - and not only that, she's cute!  I have hopes that she will breed the end of this year with the older doelings.

Boer goat brood doe Boer goat brood doe
April
Approx. 27/32 boer
DOB: 6/27/05
April kidded triplet does this year and has done a great job of raising and feeding them.  They have grown very well, and we are very pleased with her.  The rear shot was from before kidding.  She has a very nice udder now.  April seems to be a pretty pasture hardy goat.  I'll watch her over this summer to see if she confirms that.

Boer goat brood doe
Sleeves
3/4 boer, 1/4 toggenburg
DOB: 2/1/01

Sleeves is a very broad heavy boned girl.  She is very pasture hardy and has a high number of multiple kids, averaging 2.33 kids per year.

Boer goat breeding doe
Clara
Approx. 9/16 boer, 7/16 nubian
DOB: 2/27/05

Clara feeds her kids very big.  They grow fast, and at less than three months her twins already weigh a combined total of 75 pounds!  An added bonus to good old Clara is that they are this size without having been bred to a boer buck.  Clara is now for sale!

Boer goat brood nanny
Dahlia
1/2 boer, 1/2 nubian
DOB: 3/6/03

Dahlia is a good looking boer/nubian cross. Dahlia's kids look wonderful.  Both of her bucklings weighed 26 pounds apiece at 3 months old, and her doeling (Fudge) is bigger than her brothers.  I could actually have placed Dahlia on the page with our dairy does considering the amount of milk she produces.

Boer goat brood doe
Kisses
  1/2 boer, 1/2 toggenburg
DOB: Fall? 1999

Kisses is a nice large goat. Has kidded 16 kids in 7 years.
