Gumdrop - doe
5/8 nubian, 3/8 alpine
Sire: Buckley
Dam: Licorice
DOB: 5-14-09
Single
Disbudded
$100
|
Gumdrop is a very adorable
doeling. Her dam had some worm problems her first two years and
so her milk production wasn't overly impressive, but this year she is
doing quite well! Her sire seems to come from a
pretty good line of milkers, so this kid'll probably do her job.
She has grown to a decent size this first year, showing that her daddy
passed on those nice traits. Watching Gummy to see if she's bred.

This purebred nubian buck is out of our
favorite milker. You'll want to get him now and use him for late
breedings for the fall kids, and put him out on that spring grass
that'll be coming along in a few months.

Come get Rigel quick if you want
him! Need to see some of his milking
relations? Check out his dam, Rosemary,
and two lactating daughters, Clementine,
and Valencia. He's also
got some half sisters you can take a look at: Belle and Licorice. Seen enough?
Warning!
Rigel turns red/brown in the summer. He also loses hair on his
nose during breeding season.
